Entering is Easy!
Create a video, 5 minutes or less, that shows your employees in action. It can be an official company production or something your employees made just to show you some love. Once you've got that, click on the "enter," complete the entry form and upload your video, and register for the Great Place to Work® Conference, March 28-29 in Atlanta, Georgia. Be there to vote for the winning entry... and perhaps see your company go home with the Grand Prize — a $5,000 donation to your company's favorite charity!
How do we pick the finalists?
A panel of Great Place to Work® judges will evaluate entries according to our definition of what makes a great workplace. Extra points will be given for a really unique workplace culture or cool production value.
How do we win?
Ten finalists will be selected to have their videos featured at the 2012 Great Place to Work® Conference, March 28-29, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia. Your company must be present in order to win!

The Fine Print
Any US company, regardless of Best Companies list status, is eligible to participate. This includes non-profits, government agencies, partnerships, etc.
Companies must have more than 25 employees.
In order to win, representatives from the company must be present at the 2012 Great Place to Work® Conference in Atlanta, GA.
Ten finalists will be selected by a panel of Great Place to Work® Judges. Entries will be scored on a scale of 1 to 21, based on the following methodology:
- Reflects the qualities of the 5 Dimensions of the Great Place to Work® Model. Rated once in each dimension (maximum 3 points per dimension), below are some suggestions for how the Model might play out in your video:
Respect: shown as expressions of individuality (maximum: 3 points)
Credibility: reflects an open, honest communication style (maximum: 3 points)
Fairness: demonstrates a diversity of people and perspectives (maximum: 3 points)
Camaraderie: gives a real sense of family or team (maximum: 3 points)
Pride: excitement and pride in one's job, team, company, or practices (maximum: 3 points)
- Overall originality of production (maximum: 3 points)
- Overall uniqueness of company culture as portrayed in the video (maximum: 3 points)
The Grand Prize winner will be selected by audience vote at the 2012 Great Place to Work® Conference, March 28-29, in Atlanta, GA. Representatives from the participating company must be present in order to win. The winner will be announced in the closing General Session of the Conference, Thursday, March 29, between 4:30 and 4:45 PM.
All entries must be received by Friday, March 2, 2012.
Videos cannot exceed more than 5 minutes in legnth.
Only one entry per company is permitted.
Digital submissions via the online entry form are preferred. Hard copy ads can be mailed to Great Place to Work®, Attn: We ♥ Our Workplace, 222 Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA 94108.
Entrants declare the video to be an original creation by the entrant, not copied in whole or part from another work, do not violate the copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
Entries remain the property of the producing company with non-exclusive usage rights granted to Great Place to Work® for use at the Great Place to Work® Conference, and on www.greatplacetowork.com, the Great Place to Work® blog, Great Place to Work® YouTube channel, and other usages.
Entries must not be unlawful, slanderous, or offensive.
Contest starts on Monday, January 16th at 9 AM PST and runs through Friday, March 2nd at 5:00 PM Pacific. Entries must be received by March 2, 2012 at 5 :00 PM Pacific. Finalists will be notified on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 by e-mail to the contact who submitted the entry.
