The Center for People Development provides training and development programs to help employees become more successful both professionally and personally. Programs include "Right Steps," a performance development process that involves a minimum of three annual one-on-one updates and individual development planning sessions; Developing New Supervisors, a 16-hour course that prepares new supervisors to successfully manage in their role; and a fully funded IT Master's program.
On the job, employees create, design, and develop their own business processes. On company-wide programs, employees play a key role as well. Action teams and task forces help create new initiatives, which are further tested and refined in employee focus groups. The workplace is a co-creation of the partnership between management and employees. Fitness screenings, health assessments, wellness programs, flu vaccinations, an excellent benefit program, and an on-site fitness facility all help employees take care of themselves and balance their work and personal life.
