2008 Las Mejores Empresas Para Trabajar en América Latina

On the 5th of June 2008 the fifth annual list of 100 Best Workplaces in Latin America was announced at an Award Event in Monterrey, Mexico.

The 100 Best Workplaces was honoured for the exceptional quality of their work-place environments. The top 25 companies on the list of the 100 Best is ranked, and 5 companies were recognised for their special achievements in particular areas characterising a great workplace, demonstrating innovative practices within specific areas of the Great Place to Work^® Model^©.

The list of 100 Best Workplaces in Latin America builds on national selection proc-esses. In nine Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela) lists of Best Workplaces have been pro-duced and published during 2007 and in the beginning of 2008. The workplaces ap-pearing on the lists in each of the nine countries are evaluated against one another to determine the list of 100 Best Workplaces in Latin America, as well as the candidates for the Special Awards.

Great Place to Work^® Institute has coordinated and monitored the national lists of Best Workplaces as well as compiled the list of the Latin America 100 Best Work-places and Special Awards.
