Client Relationship Lead

Cathy Leibow is a Client Relationship Lead specializing in business development efforts targeted at small to medium size companies. Her hands on, consultative approach educates employers on the value of the services and products offered, and how companies can successfully create and sustain a great workplace.

Prior to joining The Great Place to Work® Institute, Cathy worked in the benefits industry for over 20 years. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of ACI Specialty Benefits, which provided Employee Assistance Programs, Work/Life, Concierge and Wellness services to companies nationwide. She also worked for O/E Learning, Inc. running their Work/Life/Concierge division. Formally the founder and President of FamilyCare, Inc., Cathy is considered a pioneer in the work/life field. Since 1987, she has consulted with companies nationwide to establish innovative and quality work/life balance programs. These programs have greatly contributed to employers being recognized as "great places to work" and have been an essential component for increasing workplace morale, productivity, recruitment and retention.

Cathy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the State University of New York at Cortland and her Masters in Business Admin¬istration from the University of Santa Clara. She is a published author and distinguished speaker on various topics that relate to the field and study of work/life and caregiver issues. Cathy loves to spend quality time with her family and friends, travel, hike, cook, and walk her dogs (who unlike her children, don't talk back). Having a good sense of humor helps her cope with life's challenges.
