Global Conference & Events Manager
Jessica Thien is the Global Conference & Events Manager with Great Place to Work® Institute. As the Global Conference & Events Manager, Jessica manages the Great Place to Work® Conference in the United States and in Europe. She leads a team in both the U.S. and in Europe to support the local conference needs and oversees all content, design, registration and logistics for both conferences. Jessica began with the Institute in 2006 as a project manager on the Consulting team. She developed strong relationships with a diverse set of clients by managing their employee survey projects. As Global Conference & Events Manager, Jessica strives to create a tight knit community of organizations who support each other in the journey of becoming a great workplace by offering unique networking opportunities and featuring keynotes by well-respected senior leaders from Best Companies like Shared Technologies, NetApp, Stew Leonard's, Ernst & Young, among others. Prior to joining the Institute, Jessica was an account manager for Key Events, Inc. an event management company based in San Francisco. Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Illinois State University in 2003; with a Major in Public Relations and a Minor in Sociology. When she is not working, you would likely find her skiing in Tahoe, visiting friends and family in the Midwest, watching football, or hosting board game nights at her home in Sunnyvale.
