Laurel Smylie

Associate Consultant

Laurel Smylie is an Associate Consultant with the Great Place to Work Institute®, based at the San Francisco headquarters. Laurel works with leaders to create and sustain great workplaces with a particular focus on workplace assessment, analysis and action planning.  Her consulting experiences have focused on the analysis and delivery of results as well as the design and delivery of leader and manager workshops in the areas of trust-building and action-planning.  She also conducts focus groups and facilitates workshops that help companies explore their own culture and develop practices relevant for their individual organizations. 

Laurel's clients vary in both size and industry, ranging from small non-profit to international technology companies as well as government organizations.

Laurel carries a degree from UC Berkeley in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
