Consultant & Sr. Research Associate
Marcus Erb is a Consultant and Senior Research Associate with the Great Place to Work® Institute. Marcus brings a broad base of knowledge and experience to the Institute, employing a consulting approach that enables and equips organizations to build and sustain a great workplace. His clients represent a broad spectrum of industries and sizes, including financial services, manufacturing and healthcare organizations. In his consulting experience with the Institute, Marcus has worked with clients' senior executives and Human Resource teams to assess their workplace culture, evaluate their policies and practices, and devise recommended plans to strengthen them. He also plays an active role in advising clients during their implementation efforts, including the design and delivery of client workshops that empower organizational change leaders, drive commitment among leaders, and identify internal best practices. These client partnerships are grounded in a strong knowledge of great workplaces, their organizational cultures, and their people practices. Marcus continues to expand this knowledge base through further research of emerging workforce trends, innovative best practices among best companies, and common obstacles organizations face in transforming their workplace cultures. On all of these topics, he happily shares his insights through speaking engagements, publications, and advisory work with clients. In his previous experience before joining the Institute, Marcus worked for an international research and management consulting firm specializing in customized customer satisfaction, performance measurement, strategic development, and organizational assessment programs. Marcus received his BA in Psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.
