Tatia D. Hayes is Senior Staff Accountant at the Institute. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, Tatia's role includes a mix of financial reporting, analysis, and daily interaction with business operations.

Tatia brings over 20 years of accounting experience to her role. Prior to joining the Institute, Tatia spent 9 years as a Engagement Manager Coordinator for KPMG LLP, one of the big four accounting firms and a 100 Best Company to Work For. Having worked for years at a Best Company makes Tatia fluent in the many actions and behaviors that support a great work environment. Tatia graduated with a BA in Accounting from Tennessee State University.

When this Oakland native isn't busy with her husband and 2 children, you can find her singing as a praise and worship leader for her church. An avid, and excellent baker, Tatia's colleagues are lucky and happy to be the recipients of Tatia's culinary experiments.
