GPTW4ALL Leadership Story
Tue., May 23, 2017 from 4:15pm – 4:30pm
In 1990, Beth Brooke-Marciniack became the first female partner of Ernst & Whinney – the predecessor of EY, and in 2011 she came out publicly as a gay woman, and was the most senior “out” executive in the world at that time. Her personal journey is inspiring but what is equally so, is how proud she is to be a leader at EY and visible around the world for EY’s people. Beth will share her personal story, how this journey has changed her as a leader, and how this leadership has so strongly impacted EY. Her story is an example of how with fearless leadership, multinational organizations can create a space where every colleague can bring their whole selves to work and in turn do their best work. And the workplace can and should be a safe space and a great place to work for ALL.
