This mission comes to life through a host of Adecco Group global and national programs, often cited by the colleagues among the reasons why the company is a great place to work. Adecco Way to Work™, for example, is a program aimed at combating global youth unemployment, built on three main initiatives: CEO for One Month, Experience Work Day and Internship Opportunities. In 2017, more than 8,000 young people around the world gained invaluable insights from Adecco Group experts in 700 branches and offices in 46 countries, during Experience Work Day. And 'CEO for One Month' gives talented young people unparalleled exposure to top management experience. Shadowing Adecco Group executives in their home countries, the apprentice CEOs join reviews and meetings with clients, national and international institutions. They learn about the workforce solutions industry and deal with issues ranging from human capital management to talent and leadership development, as well as corporate strategy and how to tackle today's labor market challenges. Over 14,000 internships have been provided to young people worldwide since 2015.
The Adecco Group also runs a range of engagement programs for its employees, designed to motivate its teams, to build team spirit, and to enhance the working environment. Win4Youth promotes teamwork and supports the company purpose, through sports initiatives that raise money for youth foundations around the world, while encouraging physical activity among employees. And over 35,000 elite athletes and para athletes have been supported in their transition from sport to work thanks to the IOC and IPC Athlete Career Programs in collaboration with the Adecco Group.
