San Francisco, March 31, 2015 – Great Place to Work Institute, Inc., the global workplace culture experts, today announced the strategic reorganization of its international business management unit, resulting in two independent entities: Great Place to Work® United States and Great Place to Work® International.

The success of Great Place to Work® has led to a double-digit annual growth rate in the U.S. Additionally, the international business has grown rapidly over the past decade, expanding into 43 country offices. "This reorganization will create even more growth opportunities for both companies, as well as empower us to further our mission of creating a better global society through creating great workplaces," commented Robert Levering, Co-founder and Chairman of Great Place to Work®.

The reorganization will allow the international entity to concentrate on leveraging cultural information and local market innovation across the firm's global network. It will also enable the U.S. entity to have a singular focus on the domestic market so that Great Place to Work® can continue to act as a pivotal resource to U.S.-based multinational companies. The U.S. entity will be led by newly appointed chief executive officer, Michael C. Bush. China Gorman will be stepping down as Global CEO and will continue to serve as a strategic advisor.

Great Place to Work® was founded more than 20 years ago as an institute dedicated to studying and identifying great workplaces and best practices of corporations around the world. Today, business leaders around the world adopt the Institute's models and methodology as a valuable way to create, nurture and measure great workplaces.

Mr. Levering continued, "I sincerely appreciate the tremendous work China has done for this global organization since she joined in 2013. While we will truly miss her guidance and the spirit she brought to the company, we look forward to the new path ahead for the U.S. entity under Michael's leadership. Michael Bush brings a track record of strong leadership and successful organic growth in the consultancy industry. This, combined with his ability to identify strategic growth opportunities and industry knowledge, makes him uniquely qualified to lead our business."

"This is a prime opportunity to combine the legacy, scale and scope of a well-established business while capturing the entrepreneurial ingenuity of a firm rooted in creating great work cultures, at a time when this topic has unparalleled focus from global senior leaders," said Mr. Bush. "I am proud and excited to be part of the team at this moment in history. I am truly confident that we can further position the Institute as the market leader for building more trustworthy, collaborative and innovative organizations."

Michael Bush brings over 30 years of experience in growing consulting organizations and increasing efficiencies of innovative business units.
