TheStreet.com Interviews China Gorman

Google employees believe in their firm's management and mission, and this has translated into a better return for shareholders, said China Gorman, CEO of Great Place To Work, the company behind Fortune's 'Best Companies to Work For' list. Gorman said Google was the top-ranked firm on the 2014 list because it invests in the future of its workers. Moreover, she said the search giant's top managers remain accessible to its employees. Likewise, Goldman Sachs continues to rate highly on Gorman's list because its employees love working there and continue to believe in the investment bank's leaders despite its reputation hit during the financial crisis.
