Out of 350 potential multinational best companies list makers, we have recognized the top 25 companies in the world in this first 2011 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list. These 25 clearly demonstrate the attributes of a great workplace — a place where you trust the people you work for, have pride in what you do, and enjoy the people you work with. They have the courage and confidence to build the kind of workplace where organizational objectives are met by employees who give their personal best and work together as a team or family — all in an environment of trust.

With today's much-needed emphasis on global job creation, these 25 employers stand out as job creators. They attract great talent, receiving an average of nine job applications for every existing filled position in their organizations in the past year. In total, the world's top 25 companies created 151,855 jobs over the past year.

How can your organization appear on the World’s Best Multinational workplaces list?

Your Company:

• Must have appeared on at least 5 national Best Workplaces lists
• Must appear on lists published between September, 2010 and August, 2011
• Must have at least 5,000 employees worldwide
• Must have at least 40% (or 5,000 employees) of their workforce based outside their home country

   NOTE

• Extra weight given for the number of countries where a company participated in a Great Place to Work® contest 
• Extra weight given to companies based upon the percentage of workforce covered by all Great Place to Work® surveys
