FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For®
Nomination and Application Process
What happens after I submit my nomination?
After you have completed the online nomination form
- After you have filled out & submitted your online nomination form, we will review your responses and contact you if we have any additional questions.
- After the nomination deadline, the Best Companies Team will review all the nominations and notify you in late April as to whether or not you are invited to participate in this year’s survey and selection process.
What steps are included in the survey and selection process?
After accepting our invitation to move forward in the survey and selection process, each company must:
- Per our guidelines, administer an employee survey (Great Place to Work® Trust Index©) to at least 400 randomly selected employees. The survey takes employees about 15 minutes to complete, and employees either return it to us in a postage-paid envelope or submit their answers online.
- Complete the Great Place to Work® Culture Audit© questionnaire, which asks detailed questions about your company’s demographic makeup, pay and benefits programs and open-ended questions about the company’s people-management philosophy, internal communications, professional development opportunities, compensation practices, diversity programs, etc.
- Send us other relevant supplementary materials to further convey why your company is an outstanding place to work. For example, employee handbooks, orientation and recruiting materials, employee newsletters, recruiting videos/DVDs, etc. are helpful for us during our evaluation of your company's culture.
