Elise Pereira is a strategic communications and human resources professional specializing in internal communications and culture, currently as Director of Global Employee Experience for Etsy. In her role, she oversees vital elements of the employee experience across nine international offices including employee communications, engagement, wellness, volunteerism, internal events, new hire onboarding and ongoing programs that foster a thriving workplace culture.
Elise began her career at Etsy through building its first-ever internal communications function, establishing new tools and processes in a fast-growing tech environment. She led employee communications through significant growth and change, including several acquisitions and an IPO.
Prior to Etsy, Elise held roles in internal communications and change management for scaled organizations including Deloitte Consulting, Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson Willis) and CIT Group. Elise holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
