Marcia Morales-Jaffe joined PayPal’s leadership team in2015, to spearhead PayPal's efforts to shape a uniqueculture, one that inspires every employee to embrace andadvance PayPal's transformational business vision andsocial mission.

In her role as CHRO, Marcia partnered closely with thebusiness to attract the best and brightest talent, creatingopportunities for individuals and teams to thrive,increasing employee engagement, fostering PayPal'sbusiness principles of being Customer Champions andacting as One Team, and inspiring employees to fulfill thecompany’s mission of democratizing financial services.Under her leadership, the company defined a set of fourcultural values that are explicitly woven into key employeeexperiences and permeate some of the company’s mostimportant business decisions: collaboration, innovation,inclusion and wellness.

Prior to PayPal, Marcia was the Senior Vice President of People and Performance at World Fuel ServicesCorporation (WFS), a market leader in the energy and transportation space. At WFS Marcia wasinstrumental in building an organization that achieved extraordinary growth. During her 12 year tenure,Marcia led a strategic HR function that partnered closely with the business, contributing to growth from$3 billion to $40 billion in revenues and 6 times market cap. She integrated 24 acquisitions, alignedperformance management programs to business goals, built talent development programs and put inplace incentives and rewards to achieve high performance and build retention.

Prior to World Fuel Services,Marcia was with McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager andlater on as a member of the professional development team. She received her MBA from IndianaUniversity, Bloomington and has a Computer Engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar,Venezuela.

Marcia  is deeply committed to mentoring and developing future leaders. She is recognized by the NationalDiversity Council as a Top 50 Multicultural Leader in Technology (2017), Top 50 Most Powerful Women inTechnology (2015) and Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil & Gas (2014).  Marcia is a frequent speakerat conferences and expert panels on culture and diversity.

Marcia's professional accomplishments have been broadly recognized. She is a CHRO Leader of Distinctionand was a finalist for HRO Today’s CHRO of the Year, Lifetime Achievement (May 2017). Hergroundbreaking work at PayPal will be featured in CEB Quarterly’s Voice of the CHRO (July 2017).
