Think Your Restaurant is an Awesome Place to Work?

Whether it’s a focus on employee health and well-being, advancing gender equity in the workplace, building community relationships or mentoring new talent: These restaurants aren’t just great—they’re also good.

This exciting new list from the editors of Food & Wine will recognize the best restaurants to work for in the food and hospitality industry. If you work in a great restaurant or bar please nominate your company now for the 2020 Food & Wine Great Restaurants to Work For list.

Thank you, we've received your request.

A Great Place To Work representative will be in touch shortly.

What happens when I nominate my company?

We'll reach out to your GM or HR contact (if that’s not you) to share more information on how to qualify for the Great Restaurants to Work For list, published by Food & Wine! To be considered, your restaurant will need to get Great Place To Work-Certified and have 10 or more employees.

Why nominate?

Show your leadership that you think they're doing an exceptional job! While nominations don’t increase your restaurants’s odds of ranking on a Best Workplaces list, it signals to your business leaders that the organization is ready to take the next step in using your culture to your competitive advantage. Companies that rank on a list see huge benefits, including national press coverage, increased traffic to their websites, an uptick in top-quality job applicants, and more.

Should I submit a nomination if my company is already Great Place To Work-Certified?

If your company is already Great Place To Work-Certified™, congrats! You do not need to submit a nomination. Your company will automatically be considered for all Best Workplaces lists, including the Food & Wine Great Restaurants to Work For, while your Certification is valid. To find out when your Certification expires, contact our support team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

How are Best Workplaces selected?

We select winners of our Best Workplaces lists primarily based on employees' responses to our industry-defining Trust Index© Survey, taken as part of Great Place To Work® Certification. Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 5% or less. Depending on the specific list, we also factor in Culture Brief© and Culture Audit© responses, gathered as part of the Certification process.
