Who is Great Place to Work?

Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation. We have partnered with Fortune since 1998 to develop the 100 Best Companies to Work For list. Great Place to Work helps companies around the world survey their employees, benchmark their results, identify gaps and improve their workplace culture.

Who are some Great Place to Work customers?

Every Fortune 100 Best Company to Work For uses our flagship Trust Index employee survey to quantify their culture and validate their employee experience.

Who’s eligible for the FORTUNE 100 Best List ?

In general, US companies that:

  • Have at least 1,000 full- and part-time employees
  • Are Great Place to Work-Certified and have completed the Culture Audit by the list deadline
  • Are not government agencies

How do you select the 100 Best?

We use our For All Model and Methodology, based on data collected in the Trust Index Survey and Culture Audit.

What is the deadline for this list?

You must be Certified and have submitted your Culture Audit by the “Last Day to be Certified” on our List Deadline page.

What happens if I don’t make the list?

First, rest assured, we keep results completely confidential. We never disclose the names of companies who participate in the process but do not get recognized. You have nothing to lose.

While it's disappointing not to be recognized for a list you’re really interested in, going through the process is still extremely valuable.
