In 2018 my spouse was diagnosed with cancer and both my company and team members stepped up in many ways to support during that unexpected time of need. My company not only provided me an expected period paid of leave, they also extended me the courtesy of working remotely as I attended to her throughout her treatments, multiple surgeries and the (unforeseen) extended period of recovery and home care that occurred over a 18 month period. The many acts of kindness, professionalism and genuine caring demonstrated by both my company and teammates is what makes this Delta Air Lines a great place to work.

My manager treats me like a person, not an employee. He listens. He cares. He provides support, proactive and when I request it. He helps strategize ways for people to succeed.
