Founded in 1862 as a home for orphans of the Civil War, Children’s Service Center and its adult care affiliate, Robinson Counseling Center, operate a comprehensive behavioral health network to address mental health, substance use and autism spectrum disorders, while integrating primary care to address total family health needs. More than 12,000 clients receive care annually at offices in Wilkes-Barre, Tunkhannock, Honesdale, Hazleton, and Danville, within 20 school districts, and in home settings across Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
