Every morning starts with a company-wide meeting lead by our CEO and other company executives. These meetings ensure everyone is up to date on the latest happenings in the company while increasing communication and transparency between executives and team members. The morning meetings also help employees from every department interact with each other on a daily basis, so no employee feels siloed in their department and disconnected from the rest!

Halloween is important to the Knowsters, so we take it to the extreme! Every year is an attempt to out-do the previous year in decorations, costumes, energy, and fun. We start with a parade through the city and the CEO treats all employees to coffee at local coffee shops! Then we take a huge group picture of everyone in costume. We end with the cubicle contest and the costume contest where employees get awesome prizes based on employee votes.

KnowBe4 is committed to creating a safe work environment where everyone can feel free to be who they really are. Supporting Pride was very important to KnowBe4 this year as the company shared the stories of LGBTQIA+ employees, marched in the local Pride Parade and supported the local nonprofits in the LGBTQIA+ community.

This is just one of several, fun classes that we offer to our team members throughout the week, including fitness boot camps, dance lessons, floor ballet and whatever else our Fun & Shenanigans team comes up with! Plus, each of these classes counts towards participation in our wellness initiatives and employees can win great prizes, such as bikes, stand-up paddleboards and fitness watches!

The “Waypoint” is the newest addition to the KnowBe4 offices, and one of the coolest new spaces! This is a place for employees to come together, bond, relax, play games and more. The room features massage chairs, couches, game consoles, arcade games, tables and a flexible space that can be used to host all kinds of employee events! Past events have included pop-up food bars, a philanthropy fair, a book swap, an ice-cream party and all of our weekly activities.

Celebrations are important to us here at KnowBe4, so we definitely went “all-out” for our 9th birthday party! For Part One, employees were able to pie senior sales leaders and executives in the face. Part Two featured a cupcake launching contest with cupcake catapults that were designed and built by the employees and aimed at the same senior leaders. Finally, team members enjoyed a huge assortment of artisan cupcakes (including keto, gluten-free and vegan options) from local cupcake and pastry shops. It was a birthday to remember, for sure!

Holidays are another important time of the year around KnowBe4! Last year we set up an entire carnival in downtown Clearwater with unlimited free rides, games, prizes and food for all of our employees and their family and friends! We even opened it to the public for the weekend.
